How Is Breast Augmentation Performed?
Breast augmentation is typically performed as an outpatient procedure and takes about 1 – 2 hours. The process begins with a personalized consultation to select the appropriate breast implant type — either silicone breast implants or saline breast implants — as well as the implant size, shape, and placement.
During surgery, the surgeon makes a small incision, most commonly in the inframammary fold (under the breast), to ensure a discreet scar. The implant is then placed either beneath the chest muscle (submuscular) or directly behind the breast tissue (subglandular), depending on the patient’s anatomy and desired outcome. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia or sedation, with patients returning home the same day to begin recovery.

I waited 90 days to leave an honest review and also talk about my results. I chose this facility because my mom went there 12 years ago and I loved her results. Her surgery was done by Dr. Gronka. However I got a breast augmentation by Dr. Akinbiyi. If I’m being transparent I chose him because of his convenience. He was close to where I worked (Stockbridge) I first went in for a consultation at the Stockbridge location then later scheduled for surgery at the Fayetteville location. Everyone’s bedside manner was amazing. I don’t remember much after surgery or the ride home but my boyfriend told me Dr. Akinbiyi allowed him to come in and see the results and say go bigger or smaller. My boyfriend was happy with the doctor’s choice so he left them the way they were. After surgery if I had any questions I would send text messages and they would call me or text me back about my concerns. I’m not going to lie, I started off regretting it because they started off sitting so high damn near up to my chin and they looked so hard but Dr. Akinbiyi explained that it’s a process and I had to wait until they drop and fluff. I would say around my birthday exactly two months after surgery was when I fell in love and realized it was the best investment I made for myself. Every day after that my boobs started looking even better and more natural. So the look u want will not happen over night but be patient because Dr. Akinbiyi and his staff knows what they are doing. My results came out better then what I wanted and my breast look and feel so natural. Dr. Gronka is a miracle worker. Had a breast augmentation and from the initial consult my final decision was made to proceed with surgery.
